The agreements your family made, and when they end.

Heshiz Family holds what you and your children agreed on. When an agreement is broken, the consequence you record shows on the child's phone with exactly how long is left. No surprises, no arguing about the date.

Heshiis is Somali for agreement. Available in English, Finnish and Somali.

How it works

Agree together

Write down the agreements as a family: phone away by 20:00, homework before games. Each child sees only their own.

Record, with a reason

When an agreement is broken, a parent records the consequence and why. Every change, shorter or longer, needs a reason the child can read.

Always time remaining

The child's phone shows how long is left, not a date to argue over. It counts down on its own, even offline.

Calm by design

Nothing red, nothing alarming, no sad faces on a child's screen. An empty list is a reward: "Nothing active. You're all clear."

Telling the truth halves it

Honesty is rewarded, and the child sees the gain: "You told the truth: 4 days → 2 days."

Stars and rewards

Kept agreements earn stars. Parents set the rewards, and children see how close they are.

For parents, and for children from age 7

A parent signs in with an email code and sets up the family. A child's phone is paired from the parent's phone with a short code, and shows only what is active for that child. Children have no account, no password and no way to change anything; every change comes from a parent and is logged with who, when and why.

Heshiz Family is for school-age children, 7 and older, who have a phone or tablet of their own. Younger children can still take part by looking at a parent's phone.

What it does not do

It does not lock, track or monitor a phone. It does not read messages, location or screen time. It shows a countdown, and that is all. The agreement is between you and your child; the app just keeps it honest.
